About

This birthday surprise is focused on blessing.

On doing good deeds, paying back to society. Because there's one thing we all have in common; we've all been touched and blessed by Seet TzuHwan.

So, to show our appreciation and gratefulness for your life, we're going to do for the people around us what you've always been doing for free: we're going to be a blessing. We think of what you would do if you were in our place, how you bring about so much laughter and smiles.

For the past week, until your birthday on the 30th, we did something special, something that we wouldn't ordinarily do. We did it for you.

Because you've been such a blessing to us, we're sharing the joy we get from being your cousin, brother, sister and friend.

Happy birthday Hwan!

We love you.

  1. Encouraged a friend who is in other university who does not feel like continuing. She ended up crying.. and decided to continue her studies.
  2. Walked a friend home. That was around midnight and the area was quite dark and there have been cases of robberies reported.
  3. Shared the gospel with a friend on facebook. It took 2 hours. I actually planned to use that time to study but instead... I thought sharing the Word is much more important.
  4. Stayed back to help my friends in their studies although I could have just left them to do other stuffs.

Not sure if Hwan will do the same, but I'm sure that if he was given the chance to, he definitely will!

I encouraged someone today and yesterday. And I prepared breakfast for my siblings for 2 days! I think Hwan will probably do that too after his SPM! :)

Sunyo and I helped a neighbor rescue her bunny from a horrible death yesterday. That's one person and a bunny.

During Sejarah, the girl beside me didn't bring her exercise book. She was tremendously scared of the teacher and almost cried. So I gave my book to her and got the scolding. That's probably what Hwan would've done.

I wrote the vice president of my club a note, thanking her for helping me to organize a meeting. I think Hwan would've done the same - he'd go out of his way to praise a junior to boost their confidence because that's the kind of leader he is.

I actually remembered to pray for my best friend in class who sits next to me. Most times I forget, but today morning somehow I remembered to pray for her to have an amazing day in school, and she did. During add math period we laughed so hard tears trickled down our cheeks. Hwan would've done that. He'd have done anything to bring a smile to his bro's face.

I'm normally very anxious and irritable while waiting for the elevator to jalan at my flat, and so I'd impatiently take the fastest route back to my room. Yesterday though, I spotted a family loading almost half the elevator with their stuff, so waited for them to load and unload when they reached their floor. I was thinking about this project, and finally decided to help them bring their stuff to their room. I don't know if Hwan would have done it; I wouldn't have done it, but thinking about him got me to do it. Many people can inspire, fewer can do so without words. Happy birthday Hwan (:

Well, since I am now at home and thinking about what I have done all this while since my sista and bro started schooling - I make sure they finish all their homework and help them with their Maths exercises before they go to bed. :)
